SEATTLE, 2014-6-12 — /Travel PR News/ — Alaska Airlines’ launches seasonal daily service today between Portland, Oregon, and Kalispell, Montana.
The flights will operate seasonally between Portland and Kalispell through Aug. 23, connecting Portland-area residents to the natural beauty of northwest Montana, and Flathead Valley residents to the Rose City.

Kalispell is located in northwest Montana’s Flathead Valley, which encompasses the gateway to Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort and Flathead Lake. Alaska Airlines also operates daily year-round service between Kalispell and Seattle.
Alaska Airlines’ sister carrier, Horizon Air, will operate the flights with the Bombardier Q400, a high-speed, twin-engine turboprop. Travelers will enjoy complimentary soft drinks, Starbucks coffee, Northwest wines and microbrews (for passengers 21 years and older), and A la Cart planeside baggage service.
Together, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air offer more nonstop flights (serving 40 different destinations), more daily departures (117 a day) and more California service (38 daily departures to 13 California destinations) from Portland International Airport than any other carrier.
