(PRESS RELEASE) BANGKOK, 2025-May-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara is excited to announce a unique collaboration with celebrated Dubai-based Filipino-heritage patissier Chef Nouel Catis. Known for his viral pistachio kunafa chocolate, Chef Nouel brings his latest culinary venture to southern Oman with a new chocolate inspired by the rich flavours and heritage of the Dhofar region.
Introducing The Anantara Khareef Chocolate, a limited-edition treat that perfectly captures the essence of Salalah during the Khareef season. This one-of-a-kind chocolate combines local ingredients such as aromatic frankincense and a sweet coconut katayef mixture, resulting in a unique blend of flavors that showcase Oman’s cultural richness. Available exclusively from June to August 2025, guests can enjoy this seasonal creation at Al Mina, the resort’s Mediterranean beachside venue.
Alongside the Anantara Khareef Chocolate, guests will also have the chance to indulge in Coconut Malva Cake, another of Chef Nouel’s creations that combines comfort and nostalgia. These offerings are a true testament to Chef Nouel’s ability to transform local ingredients into globally inspired delicacies.

Chef Nouel, who launched his own company, Sna’ap, in October 2024, has worked with renowned chocolatiers and chefs across the region since 2013. His passion for innovation and cultural storytelling has helped shape the Middle Eastern culinary scene.
