airberlin’s employee newsletter won “Best of Corporate Publishing 2013” award

2013-07-11 — /travelprnews.com/ — Demonstrating that the company’s success extends beyond its achievements in the air, airberlin news, the employee newsletter of Germany’s second largest airline, landed first place at the 2013 Best of Corporate Publishing (BCP) awards in the category of “Employee Media Print – Newspaper/Services/Retail”. The jury explained the decision as follows: “Making its first appearance at the BCP and heading straight for the winners’ podium, airberlin news offers an excellent example of how to implement the most important employee communication objectives, namely change management and the transfer of knowledge. The communication is achieved by means of an exciting and entertaining magazine-style newspaper.” airberlin news is published monthly and has been produced in collaboration with KircherBurkhardt GmbH since December 2011. The paper consists of 100% recovered paper and the employee newsletter is also available online via the company intranet.

With around 600 submitted publications, the BCP awards are regarded as the largest corporate publishing competition in Europe.
