airberlin says thank you to its Facebook friends with topbonus miles

2013-05-03 — /travelprnews.com/ — Germany’s second largest airline is delighted to have received more than 200,000 likes at facebook.com/airberlin. The German airline is thanking its fans with a competition in which a total of 200,000 topbonus award miles are being given away. airberlin CCO Paul Gregorowitsch explains: “Our social media team answers questions 365 days a year and provides useful information regarding all aspects of the fascinating topic of aviation. The 200,000 likes show that our guests appreciate this service! We are now giving away topbonus miles for the first time in the social web as a way of saying thank you to our fans. We are sure that our fans will be delighted by this news.”

The first prize consists of 100,000 topbonus award miles, which, for example, are enough for an outward and return flight in Business Class for a trip to the Caribbean. The runner-up can enjoy 50,000 award miles from the frequent flyer program, which, for example, can be used to book an outward and return flight for a trip to North America. Third place is awarded to five winners who each receive 10,000 of the much sought-after topbonus miles, which they can redeem for an award flight within Europe, for example. All mileage amounts indicated refer in each case to award flights exclusive of taxes, fees and fuel surcharges.

Currently, over three million flight guests already participate in the topbonus Program and enjoy the exclusive benefits provided by the numerous topbonus partners, such as hotels, hire car providers, insurance companies and magazine publishers. Thanks to the oneworld® membership, topbonus has become even more attractive for frequent flyers: topbonus Gold and Platinum Card holders have, among other things, worldwide access to the oneworld airport lounges. Registration for topbonus is free of charge. Further information about the airberlin frequent flyer program is available online at airberlin.com/topbonus.
