2013-07-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — In June, airberlin and topbonus presented the improved benefits of the topbonus Service Card. Now a special promotion campaign has been launched: until 31st August 2013 it will be possible to order the topbonus Service Card for 99 instead of 119 euros at airberlin.com/servicecard or by calling the topbonus Service Center on 030 3434 3433 (calls charged at the local rate). “Our guests have indicated to us that they appreciate the benefits the Service Card offers. This has prompted us to make the Service Card available at a special price for a limited period of time, so that as many airberlin guests as possible can take advantage of the benefits on their holiday flights,” explained Paul Gregorowitsch, airberlin Chief Commercial Officer.
Holders of a topbonus Service Card can check in a total of two items of baggage weighing 32 kg. Alternatively, in place of one of these items of baggage they can transport an item of sports baggage, such as a surf board, golf clubs or a bicycle. In this case the sports baggage needs to be registered in advance via the topbonus Service Center.
Other benefits of the topbonus Service Card include free seat reservation and free evening Check-in for the cardholder and a travelling companion. If a flight guest presents a topbonus Service Card when reserving XL seats, a discount of 10 euros is granted on short- and medium-haul flights and a reduction of 15 euros on long-haul flights. The topbonus Service Card is valid on flights with airberlin and NIKI in Economy and Business Class in the FlyClassic, FlyFlex and FlyDeal fare categories.
Currently, over three million flight guests already participate in the topbonus Program and enjoy the exclusive benefits provided by the numerous topbonus partners, such as hotels, hire cars, insurance and magazines. Thanks to the partnership with Etihad Airways and theoneworld® membership, topbonus has become even more attractive for frequent flyers: holders of a topbonus status card earn status miles on all Etihad operated flights and have worldwide access to Etihad’s and theoneworld airport lounges. Further information about the airberlin frequent flyer program is available online at airberlin.com/topbonus.
