airberlin adds Jat Airways and Virgin Australia to its corporate program for business travellers

2013-08-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — With the addition of two new airline partners, Jat Airways and Virgin Australia, members of airberlin’s corporate program for business travellers now have an even wider range of options for earning points. On all codeshare flights with the two new airline partners, business points members can earn points for award flights or Business Class upgrades.

Companies participating in airberlin’s free bonus program, business points, can now double their points when they book a September or October flight to Eastern Europe. For each booking on any flight to Eastern Europe in the airberlin route network, double the points will be automatically credited to business points participants on production of their customer number. This also applies to codeshare flights with the new airline partner, Jat Airways, on all services to Belgrade from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin. airberlin’s other destinations in Eastern Europe are Budapest, Bucharest, Gdańsk, Kaliningrad, Kraków, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sofia and Warsaw.

The accumulated points can be redeemed for domestic flights in Germany and flights within Europe and also for long-haul flights, e.g. to Chicago, Los Angeles or New York. They may also be redeemed for a Business Class Upgrade. This allows travellers to enjoy the comfort of Business Class on long-haul flights with no additional costs. business points flights can be booked up until two hours before departure and guarantee substantial savings for member companies.

Detailed information about the program is available online at businesspoints.airberlin.com.
