The inaugural flight using AirAsia’s Airbus A321neo aircraft departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 2) at 2.10PM and landed at Perth International Airport on the same day at 7:50PM local time with a strong load of 95%. The excited guests onboard AK604 were given a warm send off by the AirAsia team, as they were handed exclusive merchandise-filled goodie bags.
From today onwards, AirAsia guests will have more options with great value fares to/from the capital of Western Australia increasing from seven currently, to 14 flights weekly. With this expansion to Perth, AirAsia reaffirms its commitment to democratise air travel to more destinations, further solidifying its position as Asia’s leading low-cost airline.
