Air France: Normal Flight Operations Expected to Return Tomorrow, Thursday 14 March 2013

2013-03-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — Air France expects to return to normal flight operations tomorrow, Thursday 14 March 2013. This evening, Air France flight operations remain disrupted with some delays.

Air France teams are still doing all they can to limit any inconvenience caused by these bad weather conditions. Since Tuesday 12 March, Air France has sent close to 300,000 e-mails and text messages to its customers to inform them and offer them alternative travel solutions.

Air France regrets that a certain number of bags remain outstanding at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and is doing all it can to deliver them as soon as possible.

To limit the inconvenience, Air France is offering customers who were due to travel on 12 and 13 March 2013 with alternative travel solutions at no extra charge:

– at www.airfrance.com, in the “View/modify your reservations” section
– by calling the dedicated phone number 01 57 02 10 58 (from 6:30am to 10pm). This number is only available in France. In other countries please consult www.airfrance.com to find out the number for the country concerned.
– Twitter:@airfrance
– Facebook.com/airfrance.

All information on the measures taken is available on our websites.

In all cases, before going to the airport, all customers should consult the flight schedule information, available in real time:

– at www.airfrance.com, in the “Flight schedules” section
– at mobile.airfrance.com or the Air France iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry apps by texting your flight number to 6 3654 (e.g.: AF6250).

In the case of flight cancellations or delays, Air France has the AF Connect service which informs customers directly on their cell phones, smartphone or by e-mail as long as they have provided their contact information when booking. AF Connect is free of charge and available in 13 languages for all passengers worldwide.

In order to be notified personally by AF Connect, Air France invites its customers to update their con-tact information (phone and / or e-mail) in their reservation file on the Air France website. Air France will then be able to inform them personally by SMS or e-mail in case of disruption to their flight.
