MOSCOW, 2013-03-01 — /travelprnews.com/ — Aeroflot puts its second brand new Boeing 777-300ER into service in accordance with the delivery plan and without any delays. The aircraft is named in honor of Prince Pyotr I. Bagration (1765-1812), Russian general, Hero of the Patriotic War of 1812 against the Napoleonic forces.
This Boeing 777-300ER is the second to join the Aeroflot fleet out of 16 aircraft ordered by the air company in 2011. The forthcoming supplies will significantly strengthen Aeroflot long-haul transport capacities and contribute greatly to the improvement of the on-board service, meeting the growing demand of the air carrier’s customers.
There are three classes of service on board of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft — in addition to Business and Economy, Aeroflot is introducing Comfort (Premium Economy) class of service, providing more additional amenities for a reasonable price. The new Comfort Class cabin provides enhanced seating, more menu options, two pieces of luggage and priority check-in.
Boeing 777-300ER is considered to be one of the best twin-engine jet airliners in the world and is characterized by outstanding fuel efficiency, great salon space, long flight range and high reliability. The airplane interior, also known as the Boeing Signature Interior, is famous for larger overhead bins and spacious storage area. All these features made Boeing 777-300ER very popular among air passengers worldwide.
Aeroflot Boeing 777-300ER’s will be flying to Phuket (Thailand) in March, New-York (USA), Hon-Kong (China), Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski (Russia’s Far East) in April and Seoul (Korea) in May.
Celebrating its 90-th anniversary in 2013, Aeroflot is Russia’s flagship airline and the largest national air company. Proudly being a member of SkyTeam global airline alliance, Aeroflot with its partnering members provides service to 1000 destinations in 187 countries.
