Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport welcomes Allegiant’s new twice-weekly nonstop service to Grand Junction, Colorado and Kalispell, Montana

Mesa, Arizona, 2019-Jan-16 — /Travel PR News/ — Record breaking growth hit yet another important milestone for Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (Gateway Airport, Airport) with the Airport announcing that it welcomed 142,667 passengers in December. This marks the fifteenth consecutive month of passenger growth, the eighth consecutive month of record-setting activity, and the best calendar year of passenger traffic in the history of the Airport. A record 1,531,648 passengers traveled through Gateway Airport in 2018, surpassing the previous high water mark set in 2012 by more than 10%.

In addition, Allegiant has announced new twice-weekly nonstop service from Gateway Airport to Grand Junction, Colorado and Kalispell, Montana beginning in April and May respectively. The addition of these two popular destinations is sure to bring increased economic benefit to the entire Phoenix East Valley.
