Four Seasons veteran promoted to General Manager of luxury Indian Ocean resort
Seychelles, 2015-9-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Adrian Messerli has been named General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, transferring fromFour Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, where he held the position of Hotel Manager.
Arriving to the pristine bay of Petite Anse on the south west coast of Mahé, Messerli’s promotion follows a succession of global postings within Four Seasons, with positions held across North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.
Messerli, whose tenure with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts began in 2005 after graduating from Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne, is a native of Switzerland, yet found his initial posting in the company as Assistant Restaurant Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago (formerly a Four Seasons hotel). Over the next nine years, Messerli progressed through the food and beverage division, with positions in the Bahamas and Uruguay, thenFour Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon and Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh.
In his new role of General Manager, Messerli will now oversee the business operations of the spectacular hillside resort in Seychelles, which comprises 67 treetop villas and 27 private residences. A paradise location for honeymooners or couples seeking a rejuvenating escape, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is home to an award-winning hilltop Spa, a choice of dining outlets, an active marine conservation program and a wide variety of watersports.
