WHAT
2012-10-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hey, puddle jumpers! The dreary, rainy days are headed our way, but don’t let them get you down. Get ready to venture outdoors to Woodland Park Zoo for the Rainy Day Building Hop and a Rainy Day Discount to go along with your adventure. Get half off zoo admission for up to four people with an online coupon. The coupon will be offered on select days when the weather is forecasted to be particularly dismal.
A map of the Rainy Day Building Hop takes you to a number of indoor exhibits and covered areas including: the indoor, award-winning Tropical Rain Forest showcasing plants and animals in a warm, humid environment; a gallery of smaller-scale exhibits with amphibians and reptiles in the Day Exhibit; nose-to-nose encounters with grizzlies and river otters in the award-winning Northern Trail; the mysterious world of arthropods in the indoor Bug World; and Zoomazium’s indoor nature play space, where the little ones can climb a tree, explore a cave or hike up a mountain, all without feeling a drop of rain.
