ACW World Air Cargo Awards honours Swissport with “Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year 2013”

Readers of “Air Cargo Week” have granted the top spot in this ranking for the fifth year in a row to Swissport International.

Air Cargo Week every year recognises excellence in activities and services within the global aviation industry. The readers of ACW are asked to choose their favourite providers in ten different categories, one of them being the “Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year”, for which the rating is focusing on service portfolio, service standards and quality as well as investments into people and technology.

This year’s ACW award ceremony took place during the “Transport Logistic” exhibition in early June in Munich, Germany. John Batten, Executive Vice President Global Cargo at Swissport International, accepted the award in person: “I am overwhelmed being honoured with this prestigious award for the fifth year in a row is outstanding.
