With 150 dedicated employees volunteering to assist athletes at the opening ceremony, the company is set to make the event memorable by providing personalized care and support. These volunteers, known as Heartists®, will be on hand to welcome and guide athletes, organize the official flags, and offer comfort with amenities like moist towels, massage tools, and souvenir photos.
In a further demonstration of its dedication to accessibility, Accor is distributing 1,000 specialized remote controls designed for blind and visually impaired athletes and visitors. These devices will enable users to navigate the Athletes Village and selected Accor hotels independently and safely by activating multisensory features such as audible signage and sound modules.
Accor is also advancing its efforts towards the “Tourisme & Handicap” certification, with over 400 hotels committed to enhancing accessibility for guests with various disabilities.
