WHAT Woodland Park Zoo invites you to deck your strollers with holiday lights, ornaments and boughs of holly galore! Join the Illuminated Stroller Parade during WildLights presented by KeyBank Friday, December 14, 6:45 p.m. Participation is free and highly encouraged for all evening visitors.

Bring a stroller, wagon, or other kiddie conveyance to WildLights adorned in festive seasonal decorations. Parade assembly begins at 5:30 p.m. at the tables and tents near the Historic Carousel. The Illuminated Stroller Parade will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m. and make its way to Snowmazium (Zoomazium). Directly after the parade a faux snowball fight will ensue! Remember, kids age 2 and under are admitted free to WildLights.

Other WildLights highlights include an ice sculptor, visiting reindeer, the Historic Carousel (additional fee), strolling carolers and festive refreshments for purchase.

After-party: Art Up & Chow Down in PhinneyWood

Following WildLights, gather up the kids and enjoy Art Up & Chow Down in PhinneyWood for a family fun after-party. Visit art galleries, retail boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops throughout the neighborhood exhibiting work from local artists.

Bring your stroller and join the party! Urban Light Studios is one of the neighborhood headquarters for the monthly Art Walk and will be offering a stroller valet inside the Main Space on Thursday, 6-8 p.m.  Kids can expect complimentary sweet treats and Urban Light Studio’s lion Lamar will be festively dressed for holiday photos.  Please bring your own camera.

WHEN Friday, December 14

Parade start: 6:45 p.m.
Parade assembly: 5:30 p.m.

WHERE The Illuminated Stroller Parade begins promptly at the Historic Carousel near the north end of the zoo. The parade will start promptly at 6:45 and make its way to Snowmazium (Zoomazium) where stroller parking is available.

COST Parade participation is free with WildLights admission. Admission to WildLights is $8.50 for adults, $6.50 for children ages 3 to 12 and free for toddlers ages 0-2.From December 14 to January 1, admission increases to $9.50 for adults.This is an after-hours ticketed event so regular zoo membership privileges will not apply.

Tickets to WildLights are available online at www.zoo.org/wildlights daily. Night-of-event tickets will be for sale at the zoo’s West Entrance only, if not sold out. To help reduce the impact of traffic and overflow parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, parking will be free Monday to Thursday evenings.
