Wizz Air started operations from Osijek Airport

The maiden flight took off to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (EuroAirport). Wizz Air’s newest service will be operated with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays, providing customers with a convenient schedule for weekend getaways as well as business trips. EuroAirport is located in the heart of Western Europe at the crossroads of three countries: France, Germany and Switzerland. The new route is expected to strengthen business relations between Croatia and the three countries while also boosting bi-directional tourism.

Osijek is becoming the second Croatian airport within the ever-growing WIZZ network – the airline already operates three low-fare routes from Split to London Luton in the UK and Katowice and Warsaw in Poland.
