Wizz Air celebrates maiden flight from Suceava International Airport, Romania to Milan Bergamo, Italy

AND CELEBRATES WITH 25% DISCOUNT ON ALL ROMANIAN ROUTES

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, 2016-Aug-08 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Romania’s largest airline, today welcomed its maiden flight from Suceava International Airport to Milan Bergamo, the service is operated with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. This is the first route from Wizz Air’s ninth Romanian and it will be shortly followed by a second low-fare service, connecting Suceava with London Luton, with four weekly flights starting on the 19th of August.

Romania is a key market for Wizz Air and the WIZZ presence has grown significantly since the launch of Romanian operations in 2007. Wizz Air is already the largest airline in Romania and will further grow its young fleet to 20 aircraft by the end of 2016 which will offer even more affordable travel opportunities for Romanian customers and their visitors. Recently Wizz Air celebrated 25 million passengers carried to and from Romania since the start of operations. Overall this year Wizz Air’s operations in Romania will support more than 3,300* jobs in associated industries throughout the country.
