Mexico City, 2015-1-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Volaris (NYSE: VLRS and BMV: VOLAR) the ultra low cost airline operating the most extensive domestic route network servicing the US and Mexico markets, announced today the launch of new international service connecting the city of Guadalajara with Houston, Texas effective March 23, 2015 and scheduled to operate Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

“We are extremely pleased to increase our international destination offering to a city of the caliber of Houston, which now becomes our second incursion into the Texas market”, said Enrique Beltranena, Volaris CEO. “We are ready to offer new and unique travel experiences to our Customers in the Guadalajara marketplace”, he added.

Beltranena said, “Volaris is fully committed to providing a wider international flight offering to Mexico’s Perla Tapatía region, as Guadalajara is commonly referred to, and where we now currently operate 18 international and 36 domestic destinations with an average 200 flights per week, which positions us as clear leaders in terms of routes, flights, and seats”.

The carrier’s CEO echoed that the new flight reinforces their expansion into the US market. “Volaris seeks to unite family and friends on both sides of the border, on one of the youngest fleets operating in the Americas.
