Travelport and not-for-profit Atlanta Chapter of TiE partner to help Atlanta area entrepreneurs

Atlanta, 2013-07-26 — /travelprnews.com/ — Travelport, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, and the Atlanta Chapter of TiE,  a global, not-for-profit organization created for the advancement of entrepreneurship, today announce a new partnership with the goal of benefiting local area entrepreneurs.

Through TiE’s “Enterprise to Entrepreneurs” (E2E) program which connects TiE entrepreneurs with global corporations to nurture innovation, local area entrepreneurs will now have the opportunity to join and utilize the Travelport Developer Network.

Travelport’s Developer Network provides third party developer members with full access to key software resources, dedicated help and support, and an entry in the Travelport Developer Directory. Created to facilitate the faster introduction of innovative new applications to its 67,000 travel agency customers worldwide, the dedicated developer program offers extensive commercial, technical and support benefits to approved developer members. These include:

  • Developer tools with comprehensive resources, such as sample code, schema and demos to help create exciting solutions on Travelport’s platform;
  • Support from a technical specialist and an account manager to ensure members maximize the commercial benefits of the network;
  • Access to technical suites where members can request test access to trial product sample code; and
  • Access to the Travelport Universal API providing access to extensive functionality through a single API connection.
