The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority welcomes the first overseas freighter of the season

2013-04-04 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority welcomes the first overseas freighter of the season with a traditional welcoming that kicks off the 2013 shipping season for our region. The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, Midwest Terminals of Toledo and other officials will present Captain Tomasz Molenda and crew of the M/V ISA with welcoming gifts during the event. The M/V ISA bears 9,500 metric tons of sugar from Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala and its arrival regionally signifies the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway System. The freighter will arrive in the Port of Toledo and will be docked at Midwest Terminals of Toledo, located at 3319 St. Lawrence Drive Toledo, Ohio.
