The Indianapolis Airport Authority appoints Mark Busalacchi as its new director of business development

New IAA hire will help attract new flights to IND for the community

INDIANAPOLIS, 2015-5-13 — /Travel PR News/ — The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) is pleased to announce that it has selected Mark Busalacchi as its’ new director of business development. Mark has more than twenty years of aviation industry experience on both the airline and airport side, including stints at JetBlue Airways, Midwest Express Airlines and most recently at Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers. As director of business development, Busalacchi will be responsible for air service development and will work strategically with the community to build a strong business case to attract more key flight destinations to the Indianapolis International Airport (IND).

“Air Service development is a critical focus today and in the future for the Indianapolis International Airport,” said Mario Rodriguez, IAA’s executive director. “We operate to serve the community so our goal is to give customers more places where they can travel out of IND. Mark’s industry expertise will help identify and solidify new destinations to better serve business and leisure travelers.”
