(NEWS) NEW YORK, New York, United States, 2026-Sep-29 — /Travel PR News/ — Broadway fans can now carry a night at the theatre into their hotel stay in Times Square, where Tempo by Hilton Times Square has transformed a suite into an immersive extension of The Lost Boys musical, complete with 1980s-inspired interiors, themed dining and guest perks.
The limited-run collaboration is available for stays through September 14, 2027, at the 661-room hotel in Manhattan’s Theater District, adjacent to the Palace Theatre. According to details released by Hilton, the experience is designed to transport guests into Santa Carla, the fictional seaside setting at the heart of The Lost Boys story.
The project links two defining elements of a Times Square stay — hotels and Broadway — by giving theatre-goers a way to continue engaging with the production after leaving the auditorium. The musical won four Tony Awards in 2026, and the suite incorporates visual references to its boardwalk setting and supernatural storyline rather than simply adding branded décor to a conventional guestroom.
Santa Carla moves into Times Square
A glowing Ferris wheel mural anchors the bedroom, while a graffiti-style “We’re Inviting You In” mural defines the living area. Vintage touches include a cabinet television and VCR with 1980s VHS tapes, a record player and vinyl collection, and a beachside-style bench. The design mixes the hotel’s contemporary interiors with the seaside amusement-park aesthetic associated with The Lost Boys.
Matthew Belsito, director of marketing at Tempo by Hilton Times Square, said the hotel’s position in the Theater District beside the Palace Theatre created an opportunity to bring guests closer to the shows they visit New York to see. He described the collaboration as a way for visitors to step into the production’s visual world while experiencing Times Square.
The musical’s producers James Carpinello, Marcus Chait and Patrick Wilson said the suite gives audiences another way to extend their time in the fictional world of Santa Carla after seeing the show.
The experience extends beyond the guestroom
The takeover also reaches Highball, the hotel’s bar and lounge, where a dedicated food and beverage programme draws on imagery and moments from the production. A special three-course prix fixe menu offers a choice of starters and mains before an Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding dessert served in a Chinese takeout-style container with edible chopsticks, referencing a scene from the story.
Guests booking The Lost Boys Suite also receive a curated merchandise package with show-inspired apparel and accessories, a themed welcome sweet treat and a food and beverage credit during their stay.
The collaboration builds on Tempo by Hilton Times Square’s location within TSX Broadway, a 46-storey development combining the hotel with entertainment, retail and the restored Palace Theatre. Opened in August 2023 as the first property for the Tempo by Hilton brand, the hotel spans 36 floors and includes 661 guestrooms, including 31 Ball Drop rooms overlooking the Times Square Ball.
For visitors planning a theatre-focused New York break, the suite turns accommodation into part of the entertainment itinerary rather than simply a place to stay between performances. Its availability through September 2027 also gives the collaboration a longer window than the short pop-ups often associated with entertainment-themed hotel experiences.
