The October 30–31 resort event will pair five-hour nightly programs with restaurant pop-ups, live-fire cooking and a 30-seat tasting dinner, with tickets available beyond hotel guests.

(NEWS) PLAYA MUJERES, Quintana Roo, Mexico, 2026-Aug-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Playa Mujeres’ all-inclusive resort scene will add a two-night music and dining event open to both hotel guests and outside visitors this fall. SLS Playa Mujeres will stage its first Taste of SLS Playa Mujeres on October 30–31, 2026, combining headline performances by The Chainsmokers and Bomba Estéreo with a circuit of chef stations, cocktail pairings and late-night food across the property.
The resort’s published event details set the program from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on both nights. Guests booking the associated stay offer receive access to both performances and the curated food-and-beverage program. The current terms require a reservation by October 30 for travel between October 25 and November 5, a minimum stay of two nights and cancellation at least seven days before arrival to avoid a three-night room-and-tax penalty. Visitors not staying at the hotel can purchase admission for Friday, Saturday or both evenings.
Rather than center the experience on a single concert venue or gala meal, SLS plans to use its restaurants, pool decks and open-air spaces as a connected event circuit. That approach makes the resort’s culinary venues part of the main program, with food and drinks included during the published event hours for ticket holders.
Two headline acts shape the weekend
Grammy Award-winning electronic duo The Chainsmokers will lead the Friday program on October 30. Colombian electro-tropical group Bomba Estéreo will headline the closing night on Saturday, October 31, bringing a mix of Latin rhythms and electronic music to the Halloween-weekend schedule. The public program lists the overall event window for each evening but does not specify individual performance times.
A dining route across the resort
Each night is due to begin under the palms with canapés, including a Ritz presentation, and Grey Goose Vodka Martinis before the larger food stations open. The live-fire anchor will be The Smoking House by Union, serving smoked brisket, tomahawk steak and other barbecue dishes alongside smoked and barrel-aged cocktails.
At Cleo, the menu is expected to move through Mediterranean staples including kebabs, shawarma, fresh pita and Greek mezze, paired with St-Germain Spritzes. Fi’lia will focus on coastal Italian cooking, including handmade pasta and seafood. Together, the stations turn the resort’s existing restaurant portfolio into a walk-through dinner rather than a fixed-seat service.
The more casual stops will include gourmet sliders and truffle fries with craft beer pairings at Bungalow Burger House, cheesecake and freshly brewed coffee at The Press, and customizable frozen desserts with premium toppings and fresh ingredients at Verde. Later in the evening, Caracol will operate a taco station serving al pastor, barbacoa, esquites and handcrafted salsas, accompanied by Patrón cocktails.
Bacardí is the event’s lead spirits partner. The announced beverage program draws on Grey Goose Vodka, Patrón Tequila, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur and Bombay Sapphire Gin, with pairings assigned to different restaurant concepts rather than concentrated in a single bar.
A 30-seat dinner within the larger event
For a smaller-format option, Brasserie Maxine will host a five-course tasting dinner limited to 30 guests on each evening. The planned menu includes caviar, foie gras, Atlantic lobster, Japanese Wagyu and seasonal truffle, accompanied by a Champagne welcome and paired wines. SLS has presented the dinner as a distinct limited-capacity experience within the broader festival program.
A marquee event for SLS’ first all-inclusive resort
The weekend arrives less than two years after SLS Playa Mujeres opened in late 2024 as the brand’s first all-inclusive resort. The 498-room property has 17 restaurants and bars, four pools, a beachfront and a private marina. Its location in the gated Playa Mujeres area places it about 30 minutes north of Cancún International Airport, according to the hotel’s published location guide.
SLS Hotels & Residences is part of Ennismore, the lifestyle hospitality company formed as a joint venture with Accor, which holds a majority shareholding. Bringing Taste of SLS to Playa Mujeres extends a brand event format that is also appearing in SLS’ wider 2026 programming, while using the Mexican property’s all-inclusive dining infrastructure as its principal stage.
SLS says reservations for both evenings are open through SevenRooms. The official Taste of SLS event page also provides separate accommodation-booking and ticket-purchase links, while the resort publishes event updates through the SLS Playa Mujeres Instagram account.
