(IN SHORT) Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown has launched its “Giving Tree” initiative to support New York Cares. Beginning November 18, 2024, guests can participate by making a donation to New York Cares and receiving a golden leaf to hang on a tree in the Hotel’s entrance. The initiative, which runs through Thanksgiving, aims to create a fully golden tree as a symbol of collective generosity. The program is part of the Hotel’s broader efforts to give back during the holiday season. Guests will also receive a golden maple leaf chocolate as part of the in-room welcome amenity.
(PRESS RELEASE) New York, USA, 2024-Nov-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is excited to unveil its inaugural “Giving Tree” initiative, a heartfelt campaign benefiting New York Cares. Starting November 18, 2024, and running through Thanksgiving, the Hotel will transform its entrance into a festive tribute to giving, featuring a magnificent tree adorned with golden leaves to inspire guests to spread holiday cheer.
As guests approach the Hotel’s entrance, they will be welcomed by a striking tree crafted from natural branches, designed by Michael Collins, Design Director at Amaranth, a bespoke floral studio. Nearby, a basket filled with shimmering gold-dipped leaves will await, each symbolizing a donation to New York Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting New Yorkers in need. By scanning a QR code, guests can make a direct contribution to the charity and receive a golden leaf on which to write their name. The leaf will then be added to the tree, creating a beautiful, collective symbol of generosity with the goal of building a fully golden tree as a visual representation of the community’s shared spirit of giving.
This unique initiative is the first of its kind for Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown, aligning with the Hotel’s broader commitment to giving back during the holiday season. To further embrace the season of gratitude, each guest will receive a warm welcome amenity in their room: a golden maple leaf chocolate, reinforcing the Hotel’s celebration of generosity and festive joy.
“We are thrilled to introduce this meaningful program this year as part of our ongoing efforts to support our community,” said Thomas Carreras, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown. “The Giving Tree initiative not only brings our guests together to enjoy the beauty of our Hotel, but also allows us all to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most. We’re proud to partner with New York Cares in this heartfelt campaign, and we look forward to seeing the tree grow as more guests contribute to the spirit of giving.”
The Giving Tree initiative offers guests a chance to make a meaningful difference in the New York City community while experiencing the luxury and elegance that Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is known for. Guests are encouraged to participate in this tradition of giving and share in the joy of the season.
