Check presentation ceremony to be held November 29th
SAN FRANCISCO — 2012-11-20 — /travelprnews.com/ — The San Francisco International Airport Charity Golf Tournament Committee (SFO-CGTC) will donate $63,000 to three local charities on November 29, 2012. The funds were raised during a charity golf tournament held on October 1st, and will benefit the San Francisco Police Wilderness Adventure Youth Program, the American Diabetes Association of the San Francisco Bay Area, and the United Airlines Foundation for Fantasy Flight.
On Thursday, November 29th, 2012, a check presentation ceremony will be held at 12:00 noon PDT at the San Francisco International Airport Aviation Museum. The Museum is located in the International Terminal, departure level, near the “A” Concourse security checkpoint. Light lunch and refreshments will be served.
The SFO-CGTC is comprised of representatives of the San Francisco Airport community, including the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD), along with various airline and airport representatives. The Honorary Chairpersons for the event were SFO Airport Director John L. Martin, Police Chief Greg Suhr and Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White.
