Going “Whole Hog” Wild at deca RESTAURANT
Chef Payne kicks off the month of October with a special ten-day “Whole Hog Menu” menu featuring ten different pork dishes prepared from various cuts, snout to tail. Beginning Monday, October 1, through Wednesday, October 10, 2012, each day will feature a different dish inspired by a different cut of meat, including English pork pie, glazed pork belly and slow roasted Gunthorp Farm ham. The ten-day celebration culminates on October 10 with porchetta and a four-course, “pork”tastic menu.
Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month “In Good Taste ”
During October, deca BAR recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in The Lynn Sage Foundation’s In Good Taste Campaign.
Throughout the month, a special In Good Taste menu section will be dedicated to several pink-inspired drinks and dishes. From rose Champagne to the pink-inspired “All Dressed Up” cocktail and strawberry beers to specialty blush-hued dishes and desserts, the menu will feature several options to support breast cancer research. When dining from this special menu, deca BAR will donate 10 percent of each bill to the The Lynn Sage Foundation, while 50 percent of the “All Dressed Up” cocktail proceeds will also be donated to the Foundation.
