Rising star’s latest single takes off at Doncaster Sheffield Airport

2012-12-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Up and coming singer-songwriter Jake Bugg has used Doncaster Sheffield Airport as a backdrop for his most recent music video.

Jake, from Nottingham, used the airport as the location to the climax of his video for his latest track Two Fingers, which sees him and his band mates strolling through the airport terminals guitars in tow. The final scene closes with a shot of the band staring thoughtfully out the airport’s windows.

Jake played at Glastonbury Festival in 2011, and appeared on the BBC music programme Later With Jools Holland earlier this year.

His debut album, which was released 15 October, reached number one in the UK Album Chart.

The airport has been used as a location for various music and television productions, recently featuring in ITV’s Emmerdale, BBC One’s The One Show, Come Fly With Me, and Spooks.

Lorraine Daffern, Robin Hood Airport’s Head of Terminal Services and Security said: “We were more than happy to bring some rock and roll to the airport! Jake Bugg is well on his way to stardom, and it was a pleasure having him with us here.

“The airport is proving itself to be a top location for film, TV and music productions, as we always strive to accommodate the production companies’ needs.”
