RAK Airways extends impressive travel options for RAK Government entities

Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, 2013-04-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — RAK Airways the youngest national carrier of the United Arab Emirates is set to increase its footprint in its home ground with more travel options to the corporates and government entities in the destination.

In a recent corporate agreement between RAK Airways PJSC and Government of Ras Al Khaimah represented by Civil Services Department, the airline encouraged the Government of Ras Al Khaimah represented by Civil Service Department to travel with its home carrier RAK Airways.

Encouraging this move, H.E. Engineer Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Department of Civil Aviation Ras Al Khaimah, and Vice – Chairman of RAK Airways said, ‘ It is our pleasure to extend travel privileges onboard RAK Airways to every corporate and government entity of Ras Al Khaimah, especially as RAK Airways is the ‘flying Ambassador’ of Ras Al Khaimah’.

With the advised privilege, 25 government departments of Ras Al Khaimah are entitled to the privilege. Among the departments are RAK Finance Department, RAK Municipality, Customs and Ports, Department of Antiquities and Museums, Public Prosecution, Court’s Department, Electronic Government Authority, RAK Lands and Properties, Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence, RAK Civil Service Department, RAK Department of Economic Development, RAK Environment Protection and Development Authority, RAK Protocol Department, RAK Diwan Department, RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Public Works Department, Civil Aviation, Investment and Development Office, RAK Transportation Authority, Khor Ras Al Khaimah Port, Saqr Port Authority, RAK Investment Authority, Al Jazeera Port, Free Zone Authority and RAK Investment and Tourism Development Authority.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Khalifa, General Manager of Department of Civil Service said, ‘With this travel contract with RAK Airways we are encouraged to promote RAK Airways among the departments of Civil Service, Government of Ras Al Khaimah.’

RAK Airways’ entered 2013 with a remarkable number of passenger growth number of 300,000 having flown throughout its network in 2012. The airline moves forward with greater determination and strategic growth path in 2013.
