The 328-room property is expected to open in 2029 and will introduce the Radisson RED brand to Australia.

Located at the southern end of Sydney’s Central Business District, the hotel will bring Radisson RED’s bold, social and design-led hospitality concept to one of the city’s most active urban precincts.

The 31-storey hotel will be situated in the heart of Haymarket, close to Central Station, Sydney Light Rail’s Haymarket station, Chinatown, Darling Harbor, the International Convention Center, leading universities and Sydney’s emerging Tech Central precinct.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said the signing of Australia’s first Radisson RED marks an important milestone in the Group’s expansion plan for Australasia.

He said Radisson RED offers a distinctive and relevant proposition for both guests and owners.

Edward Doueihi, Founder and Managing Director of Ceerose, said Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket has been designed as a destination that reflects the energy and transformation taking place in this part of Sydney.

He said the hotel’s location near Central Station, Tech Central and major visitor and business precincts creates a strong opportunity for a new lifestyle hotel.

Doueihi added that Ceerose is pleased to partner with Radisson Hotel Group to bring a distinctive and globally recognised brand to the landmark development.

Radisson RED is Radisson Hotel Group’s lifestyle brand for travellers who value bold design, social spaces, music, art and a fresh approach to the hotel experience.
