More than 100 of the world’s best golfers will compete for the prestigious Mother of Pearl Trophy

DOHA, Qatar, 2017-Jan-28 — /Travel PR News/ — Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is proud to welcome the world’s golfing elite to Doha, as they compete for the Mother of Pearl Trophy in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters golf tournament, to be held at the Doha Golf Club from 26 to 29 January 2017.

QDF is the official retail partner of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters; a thrilling four-day event affectionately known as ‘the pearl in Qatar’s sporting crown’. The prestigious tournament is part of the European Tour and provides competitors an exciting and challenging environment, with Doha Golf Club playing host to the longest par 72 on the tour. Players attending this year’s 20th anniversary Commercial Bank Qatar Masters include Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer, Andy Sullivan, Chris Wood, Ernie Els and Paul Lawrie. A total of more than 100 players will compete for the trophy and prize fund of US$2.5 million.
