(NEWS) DOHA, Qatar, 2026-Aug-27 — /Travel PR News/ — Qatar Airways has partnered with Uber for Business to expand the travel options available to corporate customers, allowing members of the airline’s Beyond Business programme to redeem rewards for Uber rides.
The collaboration is described by Qatar Airways as the first partnership of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, linking the airline’s corporate travel programme with Uber’s business mobility platform.
Based on details shared in Qatar Airways‘ official announcement, members of Beyond Business can now redeem Qrewards for Uber ride vouchers. These vouchers are credited directly to a user’s Uber wallet and can be used for business travel worldwide.
The move extends Qatar Airways’ corporate travel offer beyond flights, giving companies and employees a more connected way to manage parts of the journey that happen before and after the airport.
For corporate travellers, the benefit is practical. A business trip rarely begins at the departure gate or ends at arrival. Ground transportation, hotel transfers, meetings across a city and airport journeys all shape the overall travel experience. By adding Uber vouchers to Beyond Business, Qatar Airways is positioning its programme around a fuller view of business travel.
For employers and travel managers, the partnership also supports spending oversight and policy control. Uber for Business provides a central dashboard that can help companies manage employee mobility, track travel spending, automate expensing and apply company travel policies more consistently.
That kind of visibility is increasingly important as businesses look for ways to balance traveller convenience with cost management. Corporate travel programmes are no longer judged only by airfares and route access, but also by how well they support end-to-end journeys, reporting and employee experience.
The partnership also gives Beyond Business members another way to use rewards while travelling for work. Qatar Airways said the collaboration creates opportunities for corporate travellers to save and earn rewards, while helping businesses better track and control travel spend.
Beyond Business already offers corporate customers access to features such as earning and redeeming Qrewards, Privilege Club tier offers and priority baggage benefits. Members can also access free high-speed Wi-Fi on up to 323 Starlink-enabled daily flights, subject to aircraft deployment and availability.
For Qatar Airways, the Uber partnership fits into a broader strategy of strengthening its premium corporate offer. The airline serves more than 160 destinations worldwide through its hub at Hamad International Airport in Doha, giving the carrier a strong platform for international business travel.
Uber’s role in the partnership is to bring ground mobility into that same corporate ecosystem. Uber for Business is designed to support employee travel, client transport and company mobility needs through a platform that combines ride access with centralised management tools.
The result is a more joined-up proposition for companies whose employees travel frequently. Flights, rewards, airport journeys and urban transport can now sit closer together within the same corporate travel framework.
Qatar Airways’ Beyond Business programme is aimed at organisations of different sizes and sectors, offering flexibility and savings for companies managing travel budgets. The Uber integration adds another practical layer to that offer.
For business travellers, the appeal is convenience. For companies, it is control. For Qatar Airways, the partnership helps make its corporate programme more relevant across the full journey, not only while passengers are in the air.
