2012-08-22 — /travelprnews.com/ — Shannon Airport is asking the local community and its strong customer base to get behind the airport by wearing a Shannon Airport pin or displaying a car sticker to show their support for the airport. The pins and car window stickers are part of the “I’m for Shannon” initiative that was launched in May with a billboard campaign featuring Terry Wogan.
The initiative has also been rolled out across Shannon Airport’s social media platforms and has been hugely successful with a very enthusiastic response from users on Facebook and Twitter.
