Øyvind Hasaas becomes the new CEO of Oslo Airport

OSLO, 2014-8-14 — /Travel PR News/ — After receiving the keys to the executive office, Hasaas commented: “I’m motivated and excited to take on new tasks. Now I look forward to being involved in developing Oslo Airport together with a large pool of capable, talented people.”

Hasaas was previously the CEO of REC Solar ASA. He has an MBA and broad experience from Hydro and the REC Group. Now he is looking forward to taking on the challenges at Oslo Airport.

“The administration has done a phenomenal job of combining sound and safe airport operations and expanding Oslo Airport. It’s important to maintain this high quality until the new terminal is operational in the spring of 2017,” says Hasaas.

Avinor CEO Dag Falk-Petersen is delighted to have Hasaas in place.

“It was important for the board of Oslo Lufthavn AS to find a good successor to Nic Nilsen, who has shaped Oslo Airport for the past 15 years. I’m very confident that Hasaas will continue the good work done so far and look forward to the further development of the airport,” says Falk-Petersen.

Hasaas succeeds Nic Nilsen, who will continue as project director and head of the development board at Oslo Airport. He will also chair the development board at Bergen Airport.
