Oneida County Tourism has introduced All In Oneida County, a new destination identity designed to give communities across the county a shared tourism story while leaving room for individual places and experiences to retain their own character.

The brand was unveiled at the tourism organization’s annual meeting at Turning Stone Resort Casino and reflects an effort to connect the county’s cities, villages, farms, historic attractions, restaurants, outdoor recreation and major visitor draws within one recognizable identity. The work was developed with KHM following visitor research, a resident sentiment survey and conversations with local stakeholders.

Rather than centering only on what travelers see, the project also sought to reflect how residents describe the place they call home. Research participants repeatedly characterized Oneida County as hardworking, resilient, welcoming and proud, themes that informed the positioning and visual system behind the new brand.

“We spend a lot of time thinking about how visitors see Oneida County. But this time around, it was vital for us to create something that the people who live here could see themselves in,” said Sarah Foster Calero, president of All In Oneida County. She said the identity is intended to recognize the people whose businesses, work and community involvement shape the destination.

The first extension of that idea will be All In Stories, a series of interviews, photography and video profiles focusing on residents who have invested their time and ideas in the county. The first stories are expected to begin rolling out in October.

The broader identity includes a new logo suite, a place-inspired color palette, photography and other design elements for use across advertising, digital content, events and partnerships. A paid media campaign led by KHM is expected to begin in mid-October and continue through January, while the existing Unexpected New York campaign will incorporate the new branding. A redesigned destination website is planned for 2027.

The launch also arrives against a substantial tourism-economy backdrop. According to the latest Economic Impact of Visitors to New York data, travelers spent $2.103 billion in Oneida County in 2025, supporting 16,422 jobs and generating $202 million in state and local tax revenue.

Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. said the new identity is intended to connect the county’s attractions, businesses, communities and people as local leaders continue investing in infrastructure and economic development. For travelers, the strategy is ultimately an invitation to look beyond a single attraction and explore more of the county’s destinations and experiences.
