Oman Air is celebrating its participation this year in an extraordinarily successful ITB Berlin.
2013-03-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman welcomed an unprecedented number of visitors to its spectacular stand at the German travel fair, which is one of the largest events of its kind in the world.
In addition, it was named by organisers as Second Best Air Carrier for operating flights between Arab countries and Germany, in recognition of the quality and punctuality of its services between Muscat and the destinations of Frankfurt and Munich.
Oman Air’s presence at ITB was further boosted by a series of events at its stand, including the “Digital Warm-up: Oman Air’s Blogger’ Breakfast at the ITB Berlin 2013”, where high profile bloggers met with the airline’s management, and the launch of a major Facebook campaign focusing on the airline’s award-winning business class seat.
Oman Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Wayne Pearce, commented:
“ITB Berlin has been an outstanding success for Oman Air this year. We have created promising new links with a range of travel trade organisations, strengthened existing relationships and received a prestigious award for our services to Germany.

This year, ITB Berlin saw 110,000 trade representatives visit 10,086 exhibitors from 188 countries
