New Zealand: Prince Harry to take part in the The FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015 pre-tournament build-up

The FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015 is set to receive a royal touch from a very special visitor.

Auckland, New Zealand, 2015-5-1 — /Travel PR News/ — Sport-loving Prince Harry will put his best-foot forward as he enjoys a starring role in the pre-tournament build-up during his first visit to New Zealand this May.

During the event the British Royal – known to be a keen football player – will captain a team of five lucky footballers in a special mini football tournament inside The Cloud on Auckland’s Queen’s Wharf on 16 May.

The Prince – who will be visiting the diverse landscapes of New Zealand from 9 May – will play a game of ‘keepy-uppy’ and will lead young footballers in a five-a-side game against an All-Star team, captained by a player from New Zealand’s hopefully U-20 team.

Located on Auckland’s Queen’s Wharf, in the beautiful City of Sails, The Cloud will be transformed with all the key ingredients of a football tournament, giving football fans a taste of what’s to come.

The tournament’s Local Organising Committee CEO Dave Beeche is excited to have the Royal Prince taking part in this event and is keen to showcase the major effect this tournament will have on New Zealand.

“In just a few weeks, some of world’s best emerging talent will be converging on New Zealand. Now that we know the make-up of most of the teams we can confirm that many of these players already have big price tags on their heads in the biggest clubs in Europe.” Beeche said.
