New 360degree film for Copenhagen released

Copenhagen, Denmark, 2016-Nov-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Stressfree urban environments and an innovative Danish MINDset are just two of six topics touched upon in a brand new digital effort launched by Business Events Denmark and Wonderful Copenhagen CVB using 360degree video footage of Copenhagen. A new VR-film ‘MINDblowing Reality’ takes viewers on a grand tour of Copenhagen, showcasing a city with a lot more to offer than simply outstanding meeting facilities.

The campaign’s common thread is the distinctive relaxed Danish atmosphere, the Danes’ active lifestyle and the unique ‘Danish meeting musthaves’ that makes Copenhagen a decidedly innovative business  events destination. A dedicated campaign site MINDblowingreality.com tells viewers more about the  destination whilst adding detailed suggestions and ideas for concrete business event activities too.

Erik Mortensen, new Head of Business Events Denmark, explains:

“The 360degree VR-film highlights Copenhagen’s many great facilities, attractions and experiences and is a great tool for getting viewers engaged. The competition in the meetings industry is fierce, and with digital measures such as this, we hope to be able to create even more awareness of Denmark as a MINDblowing meeting destination.”

The Mindblowing Reality campaign focuses on market Norway, Sweden, UK, and the US, with online advertising in specialist media, banner ads, Twitter and Facebook being the prime media outlets.

The digital campaign is a joint effort by Business Events Denmark and Wonderful Copenhagen CVB, and visitors to the campaign site also have the opportunity to win a trip to Copenhagen sponsored by Scandinavian Airlines, Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers Hotel and Wallmans.

The campaign has been running in November, with visitors to IMEX America and to this week’s IBTM World 2016 in Barcelona getting the opportunity to take a virtual trip to Denmark by trying on the VR-glasses too!

Team Denmark can be found at booth #E20 at IBTM World 2016.
