KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Naples Grande Beach Resort will join the Signia Hilton portfolio as the brand’s first property on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
  • The resort has 474 rooms, including 50 villas, and is undergoing a property-wide renovation covering accommodations, dining, wellness and gathering spaces.
  • The January 2027 debut will make the Naples property Signia Hilton’s third hotel in Florida.
  • Hilton’s current booking listings show reservations available from January 13, 2027, although the Sept. 10 launch release originally stated January 1.

A nearly four-decade-old Naples resort is preparing for a new brand identity and a broad physical overhaul as Naples Grande Beach Resort moves into the Signia Hilton portfolio for a January 2027 debut.

The 474-room property, which includes 50 villas, will become Hilton’s first Signia hotel on Florida’s Gulf Coast and the brand’s third in the state. Hilton disclosed the signing in a September 10 announcement, positioning the conversion as part of Signia’s expansion beyond large urban and convention-focused hotels into luxury resort destinations.

A resort-wide reset rather than a simple flag change

The transition to Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort comes with what Hilton describes as the most extensive transformation in the property’s nearly four-decade history. The work spans redesigned guest rooms and suites, new food and beverage concepts, wellness facilities, public spaces and indoor and outdoor gathering areas.

That wider scope is important for returning guests because the project is not being presented as a branding exercise alone. The resort’s existing Gulf Coast setting, spa, pools and tennis facilities will remain central to the stay, while the renovation is intended to update the accommodations and social spaces that support leisure travel, weddings, meetings and larger group events.

The resort sits near the mangrove landscape of Clam Pass, with access to three miles of beach and convenient links to downtown Naples, Waterside Shops and attractions across Florida’s Paradise Coast. Hilton’s current hotel listing also highlights beach access, an outdoor pool, spa facilities and electric-vehicle charging among the property’s amenities.

Signia’s Florida footprint moves to three properties

Once the conversion is complete, the Naples resort will join Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort in the brand’s Florida portfolio. Hilton says it operates more than 540 hotels across the state, giving the new Naples flag a substantial loyalty and distribution network from launch.

Meghan Fitzgerald, global brand leader for Signia Hilton, said the Naples signing advances the brand’s expansion into resort destinations. Gary Sims, managing director of the Naples property, said the renovation is intended to preserve the resort’s established identity while creating updated experiences for both repeat and first-time guests.

The positioning also gives Hilton another upscale foothold in a Southwest Florida market where beach access, wellness, weddings and meetings frequently overlap. For Signia, Naples adds a leisure-heavy coastal resort to a portfolio historically associated with large-format properties and group business.

Bookings are live, with current availability from mid-January

Hilton’s original signing announcement said reservations were available for stays beginning January 1, 2027. Its live U.S. Signia beach-hotel listings now show the Naples property accepting reservations from January 13, 2027 onward, so travelers planning an early-January stay should check the current Hilton availability before booking.

The resort will participate in Hilton Honors. Hilton has also announced an opening promotion of 5,000 additional Honors points for qualifying stays of at least three nights between January 15 and July 15, 2027.

For travelers familiar with Naples Grande, the January relaunch will mark one of the property’s most substantial changes in decades. For Hilton, it expands Signia into another major Florida leisure market while testing how the brand’s meetings, wellness and luxury positioning translates to a Gulf Coast resort setting.
