MGTO reopens Macao Grand Prix Museum

Macao, China, 2021-Oct-22 — /Travel PR News/ — The Macao Grand Prix Museum under the management of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) reopens to the public from today (20 October) onwards. The Museum also resumes free guided service and accepts group visit applications again. Residents and visitors are welcome to visit the Museum.

In compliance with the pandemic prevention guideline, the visitation limit of the Macao Grand Prix Museum remains at the adjusted maximum of around 1,100 visitors per day (closed on Tuesdays). Residents and visitors are welcome to purchase tickets in advance via MGTO’s online ticketing system (eticket.macaotourism.gov.mo), while immediate entry tickets are also available for sale at the Museum. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Museum provides free public guided service in language as follows: Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and English. Each session lasts about 45 minutes. Museum visitors are welcome to check out the timetable on the official website and sign up for the guided service on site. Due to limited quota, the guided service will be signed up on a first-come, first-served basis.

Racing-themed workshops in November

The Macau Grand Prix will enliven the city with thrilling motor races next month. The Macao Grand Prix Museum will organize parent-and-child workshops themed around cars on weekends in November, to support and promote the Macau Grand Prix and create vibrant ambience for this spectacular event through painting, mosaic and light clay DIY crafts. Details about signup will be announced at a later time.

MGTO will keep rigorously carrying out the anti-pandemic measures and conducting scrupulous cleaning of the facilities inside and out. Museumgoers are required to wear masks, undergo temperature checks and present their Macao Health Code.
