(NEWS) BETHESDA, MD / ATLANTA, GA, United States, 2026-Jul-1 — /Travel PR News/ — A beverage served in a hotel room, restaurant or conference space may seem like a small detail, but at Marriott’s global scale, those choices become part of a much larger guest experience strategy.
Marriott International and The Coca-Cola Company have announced a global beverage partnership that will bring Coca-Cola’s portfolio of drinks to Marriott properties worldwide. According to a joint announcement, the agreement establishes The Coca-Cola Company as Marriott’s global beverage partner across several categories, including carbonated soft drinks as well as hydration and functional beverages.
The phased rollout begins immediately and will expand over the coming months across Marriott’s portfolio of approximately 10,000 properties in 146 countries and territories. Guests will encounter Coca-Cola products in guestrooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting spaces and events hosted at participating hotels.
The agreement is designed to broaden beverage options available to guests while supporting Marriott’s wider guest experience strategy. Beyond traditional soft drinks, the partnership covers a growing range of beverages, reflecting changing consumer preferences for hydration, wellness and functional drink options.
The collaboration was developed through Hot Shoppe Services International, Marriott’s global procurement organisation, which leveraged its purchasing scale and supplier network to support owners and franchise operators across the company’s worldwide system.
For Marriott, the partnership aims to strengthen consistency across its global brands while providing hotel owners with purchasing efficiencies. For The Coca-Cola Company, the agreement expands access to travellers across one of the world’s largest hospitality networks, creating new opportunities to serve its beverage portfolio throughout the guest journey.
The announcement reflects a broader trend within the hospitality industry, where global hotel groups are increasingly entering strategic partnerships with major consumer brands to deliver more standardised guest experiences while streamlining procurement and operations across international portfolios.
