Marco Polo Jinjiang Introduces Customisable Pink Dream Cakes for Local Gatherings and Special Occasions

(NEWS) JINJIANG, CHINA, 2026-Aug-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Marco Polo Jinjiang is adding a softer, sweeter touch to local celebrations with the launch of its new six-inch Pink Dream themed cake collection at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge.

The collection is designed for birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings and intimate celebrations, offering guests in Jinjiang a refined hotel-made cake option that combines handmade craftsmanship, playful design and customisable flavours.

Based on official press update shared by Marco Polo Jinjiang, the cakes are prepared by the hotel’s professional pastry team and baked fresh daily, following the hotel’s established baking standards.

The collection is built around a delicate pink aesthetic, with each cake designed to feel celebratory without being overly elaborate. The hotel uses imported Anchor dairy cream as the cream base, chosen for its light texture, subtle aroma and smooth finish.

Three signature designs lead the collection. Polar Bear Sweet Dream features pink-toned buttercream, a charming polar bear motif and a light dusting of desiccated coconut, creating a look inspired by soft snow. The design is positioned for birthdays, afternoon gatherings and celebrations with close friends.

Tulip Serenity takes a more elegant approach, with hand-crafted pink tulip blossoms, vintage-style cream piping and low-saturation mauve tones. Its refined appearance makes it especially suitable for birthday photography and occasions where presentation matters.

Heartfelt Confession is designed for romantic moments, with a soft pink textured cream finish, heart-shaped chocolate decorations and an “I love you” cake topper. The cake is suited to anniversaries, proposals, Valentine’s Day and other personal celebrations that call for a gentle sense of ceremony.

The collection also includes designs suitable for children’s parties, giving families more options for birthdays and other festive gatherings.

A key part of the offer is flexibility. Guests can choose from six filling flavours: mango, Black Forest, green grape, Earl Grey tea, peach and blueberry popping pearls. The cake design and filling are not fixed together, allowing guests to select the look they prefer and pair it with their chosen flavour.

That mix-and-match approach gives the collection a more personalised feel. A guest can choose a romantic design with a fruit filling, a playful cake with Earl Grey notes, or a more elegant look with a richer Black Forest centre.

The six-inch cakes are priced at RMB 78, while guests can upgrade to an eight-inch size for RMB 128, making the collection suitable for both small gatherings and larger celebrations.

Guests may enjoy the cakes on site at the Lobby Lounge, where the hotel’s lacquer-painted backdrop provides a setting for photographs, or place an order one day in advance for collection at the hotel.

For Marco Polo Jinjiang, the Pink Dream collection reflects a wider move into local lifestyle and celebration dining. Hotel bakeries are increasingly becoming part of everyday occasions, not only formal banquets or major events, offering guests convenient and polished options for meaningful personal moments.

The hotel is located in Jinjiang’s business district in southeastern Fujian Province and offers 280 rooms, including 27 suites, alongside dining venues such as Café Marco, Han-Tang Restaurant, the Lobby Lounge and Continental Club Lounge.

Marco Polo Jinjiang is part of Marco Polo Hotels, a Wharf Hotels brand and member of Global Hotel Alliance. Through the new cake collection, the hotel is extending its hospitality beyond overnight stays and dining service into the small celebrations that shape daily life.

For guests, the appeal is simple: a freshly made hotel cake, a choice of design and flavour, and a sweet way to mark birthdays, anniversaries, family moments or quiet gestures of affection.
