For a week between December 8 to 15, Maître Chocolatier Jean-Marc Bernelin from Barry Callebaut indulges chocolate aficionados with his creations at the signature three-tier Afternoon Tea in The Bar and Alfresco. The festive line-up continues amid the warm settings of One-Ninety and Jiang-Nan Chun, showcasing sumptuous menus created by Executive Chef Giovanni Speciale and his team.

In One-Ninety, the elaborately planned holiday menus feature a stream of weekday festive mezze lunches, set dinners with wine pairings on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and a resplendent Sunday Brunch on Christmas Day. For young brunch diners, the children’s playland located ing the Hotel’s Ballroom offers a kiddies buffet and entertainment. The anticipated appearances by Santa Claus and carollers are also highlights for the afternoon.

On New Year’s Eve, two set dinner menus paired with wines pave the way to a memorable countdown jazzed up by a live band. At the lavish New Year’s Day Brunch replete with a charcuterie station with freshly shaved truffles, caviar and fish roe station, fresh cheese and tomato bar, local roasts, 25 types of French cheeses and desserts, family and friends can enjoy a convivial celebration as they share their resolutions for the year ahead.

In Jiang-Nan Chun, Chinese Chef Alan Chan’s exquisite Dream of the Red Chamber seven-course lunch and dinner set menus throughout December feature signature dishes such as braised pork belly with Yunnan ham and preserved bean curd sauce; steamed cod in Jing Hu style with fermented rice and black mushrooms; and boiled bird’s nest congee with spinach sauce, amongst others.

Dream of the Red Chamber set menus are priced at SGD 128.00 per person. Available from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and for dinner only on Sundays.

The Bar and Alfresco turns into a chocolate haven from December 8 to 15 as Barry Callebaut Maître Chocolatier Jean-Marc Bernelin delights with his chocolate indulgences. Tempting treats artfully created include fleur de sel, gianduja praline, ganache truffle, chocolate Earl Grey, croustallant praline and white chocolate and strawberry Setois. The three-tier signature Afternoon Tea also includes a selection of fresh finger sandwiches, English fruit cake, mini mince pies, stollen and freshly baked scones.
