Jiang Tai Global Assistance Services joins the Pacific Asia Travel Association

BANGKOK, 2016-May-31 — /Travel PR News/ — With more than 150 million Chinese tourists expected to visit Asia Pacific destinations by 2020 the demand for travel support services is increasing year by year – and this has prompted Jiang Tai Global Assistance Services to join the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

Jiang Tai Global Assistance Services, headquartered in Beijing, is established to cater for the predicted massive increase in Chinese outbound tourists over the next few years. The company, which provides a broad range of services including travel insurance and emergency medical support, is keen to  gain access to the knowledge and expertise provided by the Pacific Asia Travel Association.

PATA China Director Bo Wu said that he was looking forward to working closely with members of the Jiang Tai Global Assistance Services team in Beijing. “I am confident that membership of PATA will bring about many benefits and opportunities for our new member,” he said.

Newly elected PATA Chairman Andrew Jones added, “More and more Chinese citizens are venturing overseas each year, exploring regional and long haul destinations. PATA is forecasting that the numbers of tourists from China to Asia Pacific destinations will climb from just over 100 million in 2015 to more than 150 million by 2020. But there is also a fascination and a desire for international visitors to explore China’s wealth of tourist attractions, delving deeply into the nation’s amazing culture, heritage and traditions. Our newest member in China is well placed to provide essential services and support to local and international travellers.”

Shen Kaitao, Chairman, Jiang Tai Global Assistance, said, “We are very pleased to join the Pacific Asia Travel Association as we believe that PATA offers a breadth and depth of knowledge and expertise that will enable us to expand further our business across the Asia Pacific region and beyond.”
