iTravel opens at Hartsfield-Jackson

Apple’s latest products available at new retailer on Concourse B

ATLANTA – 2012-10-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Searching for the latest iPad or MacBook Air? Well, there’s a store for that — and it’s inside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Airport officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning to celebrate the opening of iTravel at Gate B17. Concessionaire Airport Retail Management (ARM) will operate and manage the authorized Apple reseller.

“Part of Hartsfield-Jackson’s commitment to delivering top-notch customer service is providing travelers with concessions that meet their needs,” said Aviation General Manager Louis Miller. “We are proud to be among the first airports with an iTravel store.”

iTravel is the only store offering a full array of Apple merchandise at Hartsfield-Jackson. It is the second iTravel store to open in an airport; Boston’s Logan International Airport is the only other airport with one.

“ARM has worked closely with the executives at Hartsfield-Jackson to provide the world’s busiest airport with the world’s most recognized electronics brand,” said Robert Crews, president of Airport Retail Management. “We will provide the Airport consumer with an exceptional purchasing experience that includes cutting-edge technology products and accessories. Our service specialists have been highly trained to provide assistance and answer questions of functionality.”

iTravel provides a comprehensive list of Apple products and services. Customers can purchase Apple’s popular iPhones and activate them with Verizon Wireless, AT&T or T-Mobile service while in the store. Experts will be available to provide support services and information about upgrades and Apple accessories.
