IHG Hotels & Resorts and Chase have expanded their co-branded hotel credit-card lineup with a new premium product, the IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card, while also revising benefits across three existing cards in the portfolio.

The changes, announced on October 1 in a joint IHG and Chase update, deepen the connection between card spending and the IHG One Rewards loyalty programme. The new Premier Select card carries a $350 annual fee and is positioned around hotel dining credits, airline-related benefits, elite status and faster progress toward IHG Milestone Rewards.

A new premium tier for IHG loyalists

The IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card offers up to $300 a year in Food & Beverage Rewards redeemable at IHG properties, a $200 annual statement credit on qualifying flight purchases and up to $50 in United TravelBank Cash.

Cardmembers also receive an Anniversary Free Night with a redemption cap of 60,000 points, with the option to add existing IHG One Rewards points for a higher-priced award night. The card earns up to 28X total points on stays at IHG properties, 6X points on dining and other travel including rideshare, and 3X points on other purchases.

Automatic Platinum Elite status is included, alongside 20 Elite Night Credits each calendar year. Chase and IHG said the 20 credits immediately unlock the first Milestone Reward, while cardmembers can earn another two Elite Night Credits for every $5,000 spent on purchases. The card also includes the fourth Reward Night free when points are redeemed for a consecutive four-night IHG stay.

Paul Proctor, IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Senior Vice President of Global Loyalty and Partnerships, said the changes are intended to give members more ways to derive value from hotel stays. Chris Cracchiolo, President of Co-Brand Cards at Chase, said the refreshed portfolio is designed to combine points earning with travel credits, status and stay-related benefits.

Existing IHG One Rewards cards receive new benefits

The $150-annual-fee IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card is being updated with up to $100 in annual Food & Beverage Rewards, a $100 annual airline statement credit and up to $50 in United TravelBank Cash. Its Anniversary Free Night redemption cap rises to 50,000 points, and the card will offer up to 24X total points on IHG stays.

The Premier card will earn 5X points on flights booked directly, car-rental agencies, dining, gas stations and grocery stores, plus 3X on other purchases. It includes automatic Gold Elite status, 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year and two additional credits for every $5,000 spent, as well as the fourth Reward Night free on a consecutive four-night points redemption.

The no-annual-fee IHG One Rewards Credit Card, formerly the IHG One Rewards Traveler Card, will offer up to 17X total points on IHG stays, 3X points on dining, gas stations and grocery stores, and 2X on other purchases. It carries automatic Silver Elite status and five Elite Night Credits each calendar year. Its fourth Reward Night free benefit will apply after $5,000 in card purchases.

For business owners, the $200-annual-fee IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card, previously called the IHG One Rewards Premier Business Card, adds up to $100 each in annual Food & Beverage Rewards, an airline statement credit and an Expensify statement credit. The card includes a 50,000-point-cap Anniversary Free Night, up to 26X total points on IHG stays, automatic Platinum Elite status and 15 Elite Night Credits annually, with two more credits for every $5,000 spent.

Existing cardmembers are due to receive details during October about which new or enhanced benefits apply to them and when those changes take effect. IHG and Chase said annual fees will be adjusted in 2027. Benefits vary by card, and some hotel privileges, including early check-in and late check-out, remain subject to availability.

Launch bonuses available through November 18

For new cardmembers, the launch includes four limited-time bonus-point offers running through November 18, 2026. Premier Select applicants can earn 200,000 bonus points after $5,000 in purchases during the first three months after account opening. The Premier card offer is 180,000 points after $3,000 in purchases, while the no-annual-fee card offers 125,000 points after $2,000 in purchases over the same period.

The Business card launch offer is 190,000 bonus points after $5,000 in purchases during the first three months. Eligibility, benefit conditions and offer terms vary by product.

Across the portfolio, points can be redeemed at more than 7,000 IHG hotels spanning 21 brands worldwide. All four cards also include World or World Elite Mastercard benefits, with specific features depending on the card.
