#iHeartLanai Pinterest Contest Encourages Guests to Pack Their Pins to Paradise

Enter to win a getaway to Four Seasons Resort Lanai this fall

The #iHeartLanai Pinterest contest encourages travellers to pack their pins and create a virtual vacation board of their ultimate Lanai vacation.

The innovative campaign will be featured on Four Seasons Resorts Lanai Pinterest page and fans are encouraged to participate and pin their idyllic Lanai vacation. Whether teeing off at the 12th hole of the Jack Nicklaus-designed Challenge at Manele golf course, surrendering to a couples’ massage in a private ocean cabana, or snorkeling in Hulopoe Bay’s protected marine preserve with the family, the island of Lanai offers unforgettable experiences and endless opportunities.

“The innovative social media presence of Four Seasons Resorts Lanai across the various channels has allowed us to actively engage with guests, stay connected and most importantly showcase the beautiful island of Lanai,” says Tom Roelens, general manager of Four SeasonsResorts Lanai. “There has never been a better time to visit Lanai and we are intrigued to learn what inspires our savvy fans when planning their visits to the island, as well as inspiring new fans to #iHeartLanai.”

From September 17 to October 26, 2012, fans over the age of 21 are invited to create a Pinterest board containing a maximum of 20 pins highlighting their ultimate #iHeartLanai escape. The pin board will showcase the traveller’s most coveted and inspiring virtual vacation pictures via Pinterest, using the hashtag #iHeartLanai for the title, accompanied by #Hawaii for each pin. Four Seasons and the Lanai Visitors Bureau will select five finalists, on the basis of creativity, style and wanderlust.

Following the selection of finalists, the public will vote for the Grand Prize Winner from October 30 to November 12, 2012. The winner will be determined by a Pinterest public vote, by a combination of the most “likes” and repins. The Grand Prize Winner will be rewarded for their innovative pinning with a four-night stay at Four SeasonsResorts Lanai and round-trip airfare to Lanai.
