(NEWS) AUSTIN, Texas, United States, 2026-Sep-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Hotel Equities is expanding its footprint in Austin after taking over management of three hotels owned by entities affiliated with Lodgic Hospitality and its investment partners.
The agreement covers Aloft by Marriott Austin Northwest, Tru by Hilton Austin NW Arboretum and Hilton Garden Inn Austin Central. The additions bring Hotel Equities’ Austin portfolio to seven hotels and its wider Texas management portfolio to 25 properties, with another hotel under construction.
For the Atlanta-based operator, the deal increases its concentration in one of Texas’ busiest hospitality markets while adding three focused-service properties across Marriott and Hilton brands. Hotel Equities said the greater local scale will allow it to deploy shared resources, market intelligence, revenue-management expertise, sales support and finance functions across a broader Austin portfolio.
David Rosenberg, President of Hotel Equities’ Focused Service Division, described Austin as one of the country’s most competitive hospitality markets and said the three properties strengthen the company’s position in the city. He said the operator plans to apply the same hands-on focused-service model used elsewhere in its portfolio.
Amit Patel, CEO of Lodgic Hospitality, said the partnership is intended to add scale, systems and specialist operating resources to the three Austin hotels while allowing Lodgic to focus more heavily on asset management, capital strategy and oversight of its wider portfolio.
Three hotels across Northwest and Central Austin
The Aloft by Marriott Austin Northwest is located at 14020 US Highway 183 in Northwest Austin. Marriott’s current property information places the hotel near Lakeline Mall, H-E-B Center at Cedar Park and Austin Aquarium, with access to the wider city via nearby road and rail connections. On-site facilities include the W XYZ bar, Re:fuel by Aloft, an indoor pool, fitness facilities and meeting space.
Tru by Hilton Austin NW Arboretum, at 11603 Jollyville Road, is positioned near The Arboretum and The Domain shopping and dining districts. Hilton lists free hot breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness centre and pet-friendly rooms among the hotel’s amenities.
Hilton Garden Inn Austin Central is located at 860 E Anderson Lane near Interstate 35 and Highway 183. Hilton says the property is about 13 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and within six miles of the Texas State Capitol and the University of Texas at Austin. The hotel offers on-site dining, meeting rooms, a business centre, fitness facilities and pet-friendly accommodation.
Management scale grows across Texas
The three additions extend Hotel Equities’ focused-service platform in Texas while giving the company a denser operating base across Northwest and Central Austin. The operator said its model combines local hotel leadership with centralised support in areas including revenue management, sales and finance.
Hotel Equities also cited its second-quarter Marriott performance results, saying it ranked first among franchise management companies operating Marriott hotels in the United States and Canada based on Intent to Recommend guest-satisfaction scores. The claim was included in the company’s announcement of the Austin management agreement.
Lodgic Hospitality, meanwhile, describes itself as a Texas-based hotel owner, developer and operator focused on branded properties. Its published portfolio includes hotels affiliated with Hilton and Marriott, including the Austin properties now being managed by Hotel Equities.
The deal reflects a broader hotel-management strategy in which owners retain their investment and asset-management roles while bringing in third-party operators to run day-to-day hotel operations. In Austin, that approach gives Hotel Equities additional scale across multiple submarkets while allowing Lodgic to concentrate on ownership, capital planning and portfolio oversight.
