In 2021, 227 entities linked to the tourism industry were nominated by the Americas in different categories, the Hostal Aptofive was the only hotel in Cuba awarded the International Travel Awards 2021 and the only hotel in the Americas awarded in the category of best small hotel .
These awards are given annually and recognize and reward the best exponents of the tourism and travel industry around the world: promotion offices, travel agencies, hotels, attractions, theme parks, as well as prominent personalities.
The awards have great credibility and international recognition, as they are awarded thanks to the vote of travelers, guests of the nominated hotels and industry professionals. Each winner has to go through a strict review by the Jury Team, ensuring that the best of all are chosen each year.
