Over the last decade, the first Saturday in August has consistently been the busiest departure day for Thomson and First Choice and this year it’s set to continue with thousands of people departing from airports all over the UK.
With the Met Office forecasting showers and thunderstorms it’s no surprise that Brits are escaping to sunnier climes and avoiding the jellyfish reportedly lurking around British shores.
