Hilton Orlando Welcomes Mona Ingram as Director of Sales and Marketing

ORLANDO, Fla., 2012-08-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hilton Orlando is proud to announce the appointment of Mona Ingram as director of sales and marketing. Effective August 13, Ingram will lead the hotel’s award-winning team of sales and marketing professionals with her more than 25 years of hospitality experience.

“We are delighted to have Mona join our team,” said Doug Gehret, general manager, Hilton Orlando. “Her outstanding hotel leadership experience, and vast sales, marketing and business development skills, will be instrumental to the future of Hilton Orlando.”

Prior to joining Hilton, Ingram was vice president of Colorado-based Sceptre Hospitality Resources, where she was responsible for managing the migration of more than 600 properties into new central reservation systems with short lead time and resources. Ingram has also served as the regional director at Pegasus Solutions Inc. where she managed a team of nine sales and account managers, and has held various sales and marketing management positions for some of the world’s leading luxury hotels, including Four Seasons, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Adam’s Mark Hotels.

Ingram earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with honors from the University of Singapore.

Since opening in September 2009, Hilton Orlando has quickly gained a reputation for giving Central Florida’s convention center hotel industry a fresh, new look.
